New Canadian studies suggest seasonal flu shot increased H1N1 risk
You probably wont find this story on the front page of the mainstream media but Health Freedom Alliance is dedicated to bring you the truth. In a lengthy article published today in Public Library of Science Medicine (PLoSMed), researchers detail the results of four supplementary studies that were launched after an April 2009 school outbreak provided the first signal of an association between seasonal flu shots and pandemic flu illness. The studies, which took in about 2,700 people, found overall that the likelihood of needing medical attention for pandemic flu was 1.4 to 2.5 times greater among people who were vaccinated the previous fall.
Our results may seem counterintuitive, but they cannot be dismissed on the basis that no biological mechanism can plausibly explain them,” the Canadian researchers write. “If these observations do reflect a real biological effect . . . they raise important questions that warrant further scientific observation.”
The international media, however, covered the rumored findings, leading officials at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) to discount the study from the unusual position of commenting on data they had not yet seen.

Nutritional supplements cause zero deaths a year (drugs cause over 100,000)

There was not even one death caused by a dietary supplement in 2008, according to the most recent information collected by the U.S. National Poison Data System. The new 174-page annual report of the American Association of Poison Control Centers, published in the journal Clinical Toxicology, shows zero deaths from multiple vitamins; zero deaths from any of the B vitamins; zero deaths from vitamins A, C, D, or E; and zero deaths from any other vitamin. Additionally, there were no deaths whatsoever from any amino acid or herbal product. This means no deaths at all from blue cohosh, echinacea, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, kava kava, St. John’s wort, valerian, yohimbe, Asian medicines, ayurvedic medicines, or any other botanical. There were zero deaths from creatine, blue-green algae, glucosamine, chondroitin, melatonin, or any homeopathic remedies.

Furthermore, there were zero deaths in 2008 from any dietary mineral supplement. This means there were no fatalities from calcium, magnesium, chromium, zinc, colloidal silver, selenium, iron, or multimineral supplements. Two children died as a result of medical use of the antacid sodium bicarbonate. The other “Electrolyte and Mineral” category death was due to a man accidentally drinking sodium hydroxide, a highly toxic degreaser and drain-opener.

No man, woman or child died from nutritional supplements. Period.

Autism Associated with Polyomavirus

Autism is a highly heritable behavioral disorder. Yet, two decades of genetic investigation have unveiled extremely few cases that can be solely explained on the basis of de novo mutations or cytogenetic abnormalities. Vertical viral transmission represents a nongenetic mechanism of disease compatible with high parent-to-offspring transmission and with low rates of disease-specific genetic abnormalities. Vertically transmitted viruses should be found more frequently in the affected tissues of autistic individuals compared to controls. Our initial step was thus to assess by nested polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and DNA sequence analysis the presence of cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV1), herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV2), human herpes virus 6 (HHV6), BK virus (BKV), JC virus (JCV), and simian virus 40 (SV40) in genomic DNA extracted from postmortem temporocortical tissue (Brodmann areas 41/42) belonging to 15 autistic patients and 13 controls. BKV, JCV, and SV40 combined are significantly more frequent among autistic patients compared to controls (67% versus 23%, respectively; P < .05). The majority of positives yielded archetypal sequences, whereas six patients and two controls unveiled single-base pair changes in two or more sequenced clones. No association is present with the remaining viruses, which are found in relatively few individuals (N <= 3). Also polyviral infections tend to occur more frequently in the brains of autistic patients compared to controls (40% versus 7.7%, respectively; P = .08). Follow-up studies exploring vertical viral transmission as a possible pathogenetic mechanism in autistic disorder should focus on, but not be limited to, the role of polyomaviruses.

Scientist Who Claimed No Link Between Autism And Vaccines Disappears With University Money

The lead author of a key study used by EU and USA health bodies as evidence mercury in vaccines does not cause autism has vanished after it emerged that he fraudulently claimed 10 million crowns in funds from his university in Denmark.
According to a statement by the CDC, the researcher is Dr Poul Thorsen, who was also employed by Emory University, Atlanta, without the knowlege of his university, according to the Danish media.
Police, who were called in to investigate by the university after they found a 10-million crown hole in their budget, believe the researcher is in the USA, living and working in Atlanta.
The scientist has worked on a multi-phase research project on the cause of autism that has been received about 80 million crowns in funding from the CDC, headquartered in Atlanta, since 2002. Poul Thorsen along with Keersten Madsen Meldgaard was the author of a study published in 2002 that used data from Danish children to show that there was no link between mercury in vaccines and autism.
The data in the study called Population-Based Study of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccination and Autism and published in the New England Journal of Medicine appears to show that autism rates went up after mercury was removed from vaccines, and was used in many subsequent studies justifying the use of mercury.
However, the study has come under criticism for evidence that data has been manipulated to bolster the pro vaccine cause.

The revelation that a key author of key pro thiomersal study has apparently vanished over a case fraud involving the CDC funds is sure to reignite the dispute about the validity of these studies and the dangers of thiomersal.
The CDC, an agency belonging to the US Department of Health and Human Services, has been accused of hiding the relationship between threefold growth of vaccinations for US children in the 1990s and the epidemic of autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders that began at exactly the same time.

Discovery Channel Exposes Chemtrails

Frequency Foundation subscribers have received regular updates to Chemtrail frequencies for years. They contain frequencies that eliminate wide variety of biological organisms in addition to many metallic and chemical compounds hazardous to health.

Anyone who flies a lot has seen large unmarked planes taking off from major airports that carry these toxic substances for spraying. This is a global spraying campaign. Only China and Israel seem to be avoiding the spraying, perhaps because they do not allow illegal entry into their airspace.

The Discovery Channel piece focuses mainly on the global warming issues around chemtrails. However, weather modification, infecting an unsuspecting public with dieease, HAARP strategies for surveillance and other secret projects appear to be a few of the reasons our government allows widespread spraying of the population along with a massive disinformation campaign to keep people confused and ignorant.

An eight year study conducted at the Mayo Clinic, published by the American Thoracic Society suggests that there is a correlation between flu shots and risk of complications from influenza. The study evaluated every pediatric patient that was seen at the Mayo Clinic over the course of eight flu seasons to determine how much the flu shot prevented hospitalization from influenza in asthmatic children.

ATS 2009, SAN DIEGO— The inactivated flu vaccine does not appear to be effective in preventing influenza-related hospitalizations in children, especially the ones with asthma. In fact, children who get the flu vaccine are more at risk for hospitalization than their peers who do not get the vaccine, according to new research that will be presented on Tuesday, May 19, at the 105th International Conference of the American Thoracic Society in San Diego.

Flu vaccine (trivalent inactivated flu vaccine—TIV) has unknown effects on asthmatics. “The concerns that vaccination maybe associated with asthma exacerbations have been disproved with multiple studies in the past, but the vaccine’s effectiveness has not been well-established,” said Avni Joshi, M.D., of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. “This study was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the TIV in children overall, as well as the children with asthma, to prevent influenza-related hospitalization.”

The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommend annual influenza vaccination for all children aged six months to 18 years.

The National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (3rd revision) also recommends annual flu vaccination of asthmatic children older than six months.

In order to determine whether the vaccine was effective in reducing the number of hospitalizations that all children, and especially the ones with asthma, faced over eight consecutive flu seasons, the researchers conducted a cohort study of 263 children who were evaluated at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota from six months to 18 years of age, each of whom had had laboratory-confirmed influenza between 1996 to 2006. The investigators determined who had and had not received the flu vaccine, their asthma status and who did and did not require hospitalization. Records were reviewed for each subject with influenza-related illness for flu vaccination preceding the illness and hospitalization during that illness.

They found that children who had received the flu vaccine had three times the risk of hospitalization, as compared to children who had not received the vaccine. In asthmatic children, there was a significantly higher risk of hospitalization in subjects who received the TIV, as compared to those who did not (p= 0.006). But no other measured factors—such as insurance plans or severity of asthma— appeared to affect risk of hospitalization.

“While these findings do raise questions about the efficacy of the vaccine, they do not in fact
implicate it as a cause of hospitalizations,” said Dr. Joshi. “More studies are needed to a sess not only the immunogenicity, but also the efficacy of different influenza vaccines in asthmatic subjects.”

Doctor is right but may lose his license anyway

In the U.S., medicine is a government sponsored monopoly which suppresses innovation and causes medical error to exceed all cases of death except heart disease and cancer. If you are not politically correct you can lose you license to practice medicine. The U.S. has the highest costs and the lowest quality health care in the developed world as a result. At MIT in the 1990’s they predicted that the U.S. healthcare system would self-destruct by 2010. We will see …

From a research point of view it makes it extremely difficult to get to the root cause of medical problems and even harder to get more effective treatments when politics is more important than reality.

 MMR doctor proved right in week he was condemned as ‘dishonest’

In the week that the doctor at the centre of the controversy over the MMR vaccine and autism was called “dishonest, irresponsible and callous” by a medical disciplinary board, a new study has been published that suggests he could be right all along. Researchers in New York have discovered that children with autism spectrum disorder also had inflammation in the ileum, part of the small intestine – the exact same discovery made by Dr Andrew Wakefield, who may now lose his medical license following a 30-month hearing at the General Medical Council. Wakefield noted that the children he saw also had been given the triple MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine, and he speculated that it might be the cause. After the publication of his paper in The Lancet in 1998, vaccination rates dropped dramatically as parents in the UK refused to have their children vaccinated. The new study, from the New York University School of Medicine, discovered that 143 children with autism spectrum disorder also suffered from chronic gastrointestinal symptoms, and inflammation in the small intestine. As the vaccine is compulsory in the US, where the children live, it is reasonable to assume that most, if not all, were vaccinated – although the researchers do not suggest that it was the cause of the inflammation they detected. The use of ultra-diluted natural products in the management of disease and treatment of cancer has generated a lot of interest and controversy. We conducted an in vitro study to determine if products prescribed by a clinic in India have any effect on breast cancer cell lines. We studied four ultra-diluted remedies (Carcinosin, Phytolacca, Conium and Thuja) against two human breast adenocarcinoma cell lines (MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231) and a cell line derived from immortalized normal human mammary epithelial cells (HMLE). The remedies exerted preferential cytotoxic effects against the two breast cancer cell lines, causing cell cycle delay/arrest and apoptosis. These effects were accompanied by altered expression of the cell cycle regulatory proteins, including downregulation of phosphorylated Rb and upregulation of the CDK inhibitor p27, which were likely responsible for the cell cycle delay/arrest as well as induction of the apoptotic cascade that manifested in the activation of caspase 7 and cleavage of PARP in the treated cells. The findings demonstrate biological activity of these natural products when presented at ultra-diluted doses. Further in-depth studies with additional cell lines and animal models are warranted to explore the clinical applicability of these agents.
